Add a Western motif to your summer manicure! Here’s how to do a metallic buckle design to nails using colors from Gelish, including a shade from the new Gelish Urban Cowgirl collection, Tex’as Me Later.
Step 1: After completing your Gelish nail prep, apply a thin coat of Gelish Tex’as Me Later to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Repeat for full coverage.
Step 2: With Gelish Holy Cow-Girl! and a striper brush, draw a small oval in the center of the nail. Cure for 30 seconds and repeat for full coverage.
Step 3: Using Gelish Pumps Or Cowboy Boots? and a striper brush, create a small outline around the oval. Next, create an additional oval outline around the first outline.
Step 4: With a dotting tool and Pumps or Cowboy Boots?, add small dots around of the circle outline. Cure for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Using Gelish Tan My Hide and the striper brush, create thin stripes above and below the oval. Cure for 30 seconds.
Step 6: With Pumps or Cowboy Boots?, Holy Cow-Girl!, and a dotting tool, add dots between the stripes. Cure for 30 seconds. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Top It Off sealer gel making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds. Using Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail. Massage Nourish Cuticle Oil into the skin surrounding the nail plate. Enjoy your finished look.
