Coors Light's nail polish changes from grey to blue when your beer is cold enough to enjoy!
Coors Light channeled its color-changing beer cans with Chill Polish, a color-changing nail polish that changes from grey to blue when your beer is cold enough to enjoy. Just paint your nails, hold your pint glass, and if your nails turn blue, your beer is the optimal temperature (42 degrees Fahrenheit, by Coors Light's standards).
“Coors Light should always be served as cold as the Rockies, but sometimes it’s hard to know when you’re drinking from a pint glass,” says Marcelo Pascoa, vice president of marketing for Coors Family of Brands. “We’ve brought our cold-activated technology to nail polish to ensure your pint of beer is just the right temp for drinking.” This isn’t a pitch only to women. According to the company, Coors Light is targeting “any beer drinkers” who prefer cold to warm brew.
Co-developed with Le Chat, the $7 nail polish released on Tuesday and has already sold out, although you can enter to win a Chill Polish kit here.
