The opening of this Studio City, California, salon in February celebrated the fifth location in the Bellacures franchise family. Jeannette Starsky, nail buff-turned-salon owner, relied upon her innate business sense, love of the nail industry and just a bit on Bellacures founder Samira Asemanfar to build her San Fernando Valley version of the popular establishment. While having the acclaimed Bellacures name behind the business certainly helped set the tone, it was Starky’s skill in choosing a prime storefront location, demanding the best in construction, as well as hiring and managing her staff that has made this salon a star.
