Street art, color, fashion, music and traveling to see different cultures.

What was your first job in the industry?
I worked for Paula Kent Meehan, the former owner of Redken. She started a catalog company that sold women’s accessories to salons, who in turn retailed them to the consumer. She mentored me at a very young age and the experience was my first taste of the beauty industry.

I wish I could have worked with Andy Warhol. I love his pop art style.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Launching the Cuccio Colour line.

heights.

Reggae and underground hip-hop.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Dark chocolate.

My most recent impulse buy was…
A vintage Gucci bag.
What was your childhood ambition?
Funny enough, I always told my family that I wanted to develop nail polish.
I can’t discuss nails without…
