On the heels of OPI’s Vintage Minnie Mouse promotion that launched June 2012, OPI joined designer Gerlan on Thursday, September 13, in showing Minnie some love on the runway at New York Fashion Week. Gerlan Jeans teamed up with Disney to debut a 14-piece Minnie Mouse collection to open the show with models wearing revamped Minnie looks from head to toe.

Models wore OPI nail lacquer in four different shades to complement Gerlan’s designs, including No Room for the Blues, Fly, Need Sunglasses? and If You Moust, You Moust (from OPI’s Vintage Minnie Mouse). Braided pigtail buns in similarly bright colors were worn high for a mouse ears effect.

The rest of Gerlan’s collection focused on Gerl Power; models wore metallic Dr. Martens combat boots with OPI nail lacquer in DS Radiance to add to the pop art, punk vibe.
