Miami-based nail artist Leslie Ayala prides herself on long-lasting nail designs using strictly Japanese gel for her work.

Becoming a mom pushed her to make her passion a career. Despite all odds, she ventured into owning her own business only four years after receiving her license. Those who venture into her appointment-only salon, Nail Witch Studios, are lucky to get a seat at her station, because her books fill weeks in advance.
"My clients are family,” says Ayala. “I'm blessed to have loyal girls whom I call my ‘nail babies,’ because I've seen their nails grow from short babies to beautiful long healthy claws—it's unbelievable!"
