Nail Art Tutorial: Easy Christmas Trees

If you haven’t tried this before, you must. It’s a no-fail technique that comes with amazing results, and all you need is a nail wrap and some striping tape. Sarah of Get Buffed Nails shows

Supplies needed:

• Scissors
• Striping tape
• Nail wrap or decal (try Minx for a pretty gold one)

Step 1: Paint the nail the color of your choice.

 

Step 2: Begin to crisscross the striping tape onto the nail wrap.

It should look something like this.

Step 3: Cut out a long triangle from the nail wrap for your tree.

Step 4: Remove the backing and pick up with pinchers/tweezers.

Step 5: Gently place the triangle onto the center of your nail and smooth down with your fingers.

Step 6: Finally add a star to the top of your tree and apply top coat. (I like to add top coat twice, to make sure the tree is well coated).
