The best of the best in the music industry were out in full force for the 2024 Grammy Awards. It was a big night in music with Taylor Swift announcing her new album and breaking a record for being the first artist to win "Album of the Year" four times, Miley Cyrus winning her first Grammys and Joni Mitchell performing for the first time on the Grammy's stage.
Of course, a night as spectacular as this calls for some glam! No look is complete without a stunning set of nails. Here, five celebrity manicurists share the looks they created for the stars at this year's Grammy Awards.
Lana Del Rey
Nails by: Yoko Sakakura (@nails_by_yoko)
Manicurist Yoko Sakakura created a coquette nail look for Lana Del Rey that featured square, medium-length nails glazed with a pearl base. Our favorite part is the fun nail embellishments, like pearls, stars, bow charms, rhinestones in the shape of a heart and swan nail art!
"For her nails, we were inspired by a swan theme," shares Sakakura. "We decided to use a light pink nude shade with a pearl chrome effect. We added some crystals, pearls and pink bows to go with Lana's aesthetic."
Halle Bailey
Nails by: Eri Ishizu (@eriishizu)
Inspired by Halle Bailey's crystal dress for the Grammy's, nail artist Eri Ishizu created a nude manicure featuring a French tip made out of shimmery rhinestones.
"We wanted to do a sparkle nail art that complimented her look that night, a sheer nude dress filled with crystals," shares Ishizu.
How-To:
- Apply two coats of Samoan Sand and one light coat of Put it in Neutral from OPI.
- Place Swarovski Crystals, and secure with top coat.
Victoria Monet
Nails by: Coca Michelle (@cocamichelle)
Victoria Monet took home three Grammys for "JAGUAR II," including Best New Artist. She wore a bronze custom Versace gown to the awards show, so naturally it only made sense for nail artist Coca Michelle to create a shimmery bronze manicure to match.
"Victoria's dress was a beautiful brown," shares Michelle. "I wanted to create a highlight on the nail that would compliment the satin material and color of her dress."
Michelle used OPI GelColor in “Brown to Earth” and OPI GelColor in “Gliterally Shimmer” from new OPI Your Way Collection to create the look.

To compliment the look, manicurist Betina Goldstein created a plum nail look using nail products from Chanel.

Ice Spice
Nails by: Aulani (@nailsbyaulani)
Ice Spice was nominated four times at this year's Grammy awards, including for Best New Artist and Best Rap Song.
"This set was inspired by 2000s nail trends featuring a pink glitter base, a low French manicure, glitter ombré at the tips, cute line work and an extra star detail for star girl vibes," shares Aulani. "The bow charm, cross charm and extra rhinestones gave it a finishing, diva touch."
How-To:
- Start with a pink glittery base.
- Draw a French where the nail bed is, with only a slight curve.
- Add glitter to the tips for an ombré look.
- Follow with lines starting from the side and tapering inwards for that 2000s look.
- Add stars where you see fit or somewhere to complement the previous lines you drew.
- Add desired charms and rhinestones.
- Apply top coat to finish.
Dua Lipa
Nails by: Kim Truong (@kimkimnails)
Nominated for Song of the Year and Best Song Written For Visual Media for "Dance the Night Away" from "Barbie: The Album," Dua Lipa wore a disco-ball silver custom Courrèges gown that featured cut-outs on either side of the hips.
Manicurist Kim Truong created a traditional French manicure in a square shape with softer color tips for a faded effect.
