Nail tech Denise Heavner from Jefferson, Ohio has a hack that will allow you to skip the gel process before applying transfer foil. Traditionally to apply transfer foil, you’ll need a surface that’s sort of sticky (like cured black gel before the inhibition layer has been wiped away) to help pick up the pieces of foil. Heavner opted to get a little creative and try out hair glue. While gel is the way to go with professional clients, this alternate method is fun to know and can come in handy!
