Blake Lively looked stunning at the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week, wearing a gold sequined jumpsuit.

To compliment her look, manicurist Elle Gerstein (@enamelle) created a bronze studded manicure using products from Paris Lash Academy

“Using gold studs to outline the nail is ‘the detail’ Blake and I do when collaborating on her signature nail looks,” Gerstein shares.  “They were an inspo of the hardware you find on a Kors bag.”

Below, Gerstein shares a step-by-step tutorial for bringing the look to life, so you can recreate this trending fall style for your clients.

How-To:

  1. Start off with one coat of The PLA Base Coat - a necessary step in any professional gel polish service! The base coats help the gel polish bind with the natural nail, ensuring a long-lasting, beautiful gel manicure that reduces chips or smudges.
  2. After the base coat, apply two coats of PLA’s Howl You Doin’ polish, a rich, orange-brown bronze for a glam, '70s-esque manicure.
  3. Then, apply metal gold studs to the outline of the nail.
  4. To finish the look, apply The PLA Non Wipe Top Coat for more shine and additional protection.
