Winning Nail Art

Nail Systems International (NSI) named Irina Gafvelin from Sweden the winner of its first online Free-Hand Nail Art Competition with a prize of a $250 Amazon gift card. Gafvelin dominated the competition by using the Attraction Acrylic System with Extreme Pink, Totally Clear and Purely Pink Masque nail powders; Glistening Rose from the Technailcolor Mixable Colored Acrylic collection; and Cracked Ice glitter flakes in Red to create her winning look.
The online contest was open to professional nail technicians and students, and the only requirement was that the nail had to be sculpted with NSI acrylic or gel products. Aleksandra Was from Poland placed second and Jeni Smith from the United Kingdom took home the third-place prize. The amazing artwork was judged by well-known industry experts Denise Wright, founder of the Denise Wright Academy, Vicki Peters, president of Vicki Peters, Inc. and Debbie Doerrlamm, webmaster of BeautyTech.com.
