Nailcare Academy's online Wellness Nail Technician Program is designed to bring nail technicians into the current trend of wellness-oriented care

The Nailcare Academy (NCA) Wellness Nail Technician Program (WNT) trains nail technicians to work in medical environments, or salons and spas, in collaboration with medical professionals, accepting referrals of their patients for their cosmetic foot and hand care.

NCA developed this new focus for nail technicians to expand and replace its ten-module Medical Nail Technician (MNT) program.  The Advanced Nail Technician Program is a prerequisite for the WNT. “Many of our graduates are developing long wait-lists of clients eager for safe care and are earning over six-figures annually,” says Janet McCormick, author and owner of the Nailcare Academy programs.

The WNT is a prerequisite to the new NCA Internship, a three-module program that prepares the WNT for the in-medical office 40-hour observation program. The internship is an observation of typical podiatry care, allowing the intern to know what their clients experience in the care of a podiatrist. An MNT certificate is awarded following the 40-hour observation.
