Celebrity manicurist Elle polished Laverne Cox’s nails for last night’s Orange Is the New Black premiere.

Elle kept the nail look neutral and versatile to carry Cox through the week while shooting her current project, Jolt. Elle opted for gel polish LeChat Perfect Match pink creme Beauty Bride To Be, layered with light cream French Vanilla.

“Laverne prefers wearing gel, since it dries instantly and is long-lasting,” says Elle. “I applied one coat of LeChat Perfect Match Beauty Bride To Be, followed by one coat of French Vanilla and finished with a top coat. I like to layer shades to create dimension and to custom match the shade [Cox] wears for her role in Jolt.
