At Creatures Of The Wind, it’s all about getting that deconstructed and edgy vibe. As the Fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection hit the catwalk, bright, earth-tone colors filled the room. The complement, the nails were a custom blended black shade with a satin finish.
Created by manicurist Geraldine Holford, the models wore the Dermelect Cosmeceuticals peptide-infused nail polish brand. According to a press release, the entire Creatures of the Wind collection was inspired by the vintage “cool girl” with an undone look, whereas the nails were inspired by latex tights worn by the models.

To start, Holford used a Dermelect soon-to-be-released custom polish blend in the True Black. Next, she used a thin brush to paint a white stripe on the nails using Dermelect’s Opulence, a French porcelain white. To finish off the look, the nails were topped off with Demelect’s Matte-iculous Matte Top Coat to create the effortless and flat finish.
