Polish company ORLY has partnered with Wanna Nails App to allow clients to try on different nail colors before application or purchase. ORLY VP Business Development Tal Pink explained the collaboration, “Creativity through nail art is part of the heritage of the ORLY brand and we loved the idea of bringing that outlet to consumers through an app that’s both limitless and easy to use. Do we think digital nail polish will replace the real thing? Probably not, but this has the potential to inspire a lot of fun photo booth experiences for nails and also be a useful tool for consumers and others.”
Using augmented reality clients will be able to use the mobile app, available for both Android and iPhone to preview lacquer shades from the ORLY Fall 2018 collection “The New Neutral.” Swatches can be changed with the swipe of a finger and users are even able to create “Boomerang-style” videos to share.
