The "warm and cozy shade" is intended to evoke tactility, caring and community, a sense of sanctuary, subtle sensuality, and collaboration. At the same time, Peach Fuzz delivers the humanity of the mind, body and soul, per Pantone, while delivering "beauty to the digital world."

The lip product delivers a bold, bright, yet soft and subtle effect for any skin tone, per Pantone.

The selection is the 25th Pantone Color of the Year. For context, Pantone's 2023 color of the year, 18-1750 Viva Magenta, was "rooted in nature descending from the red family demonstrating a new signal of strength," while 2022's Veri Peri was a tone "encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone."
