Editorial nail artist Miss Pop created colorful manicures for 60-plus models walking in M Missoni’s Fashion Week presentation with looks featuring a variety of OPI Nail Lacquer shades from the Mexico City collection.

Inspired by M Missoni’s signature pattern knitwear and Margherita Missoni’s first name in Italian, Miss Pop created nail art including daisies and bright pops of color, courtesy of the OPI Mexico City collection.
“It was a blast, because this show was non-traditional,” says Miss Pop. “The takeover of the iconic Pink’s Hot Dogs was a color explosion and OPI was a big part of that magic.”
Recreate the Look
Step 1
Prep the nail. Apply two coats of OPI Nail Lacquer in Mariachi Makes My Day, Don’t Tell a Sol, Telenovela Me About It, Mi Casa Es Blue Casa and Verde Nice to Meet You—one shade per nail, of course.
Step 2
Paint M Missoni’s knitwear-inspired lines using an art brush.
TIP! Add each color on a palette first, then pick up one color at a time to paint simple strokes across the nail. Miss Pop clustered them in groups.
STEP 3
Finish the look with OPI Top Coat, and finish with Rapid Dry Spray.
