Filled with vibrant fabrics, vintage laces and embroidery, the Oscar de la Renta Spring/Summer 2020 collection’s color palette paid homage to Oscar’s home of the Caribbean. With bursts of color throughout the collection, it was only fitting that the nail look expanded on this liveliness. Courtesy of New York City-based editorial nail artist Miss Pop, three Zoya nail looks brought the pieces to life through an assortment of corals, pinks and nudes.

“Moved by Oscar de la Renta’s home, the nail looks took cues from Caribbean flowers, sunsets, plants and the sea,” says Miss Pop.

Recreate the Runway Look
Step 1
Prep the nail with Zoya Remove Plus. Apply one coat of Laurel.
Step 2
Use a dotting pen tool, dipped in Purity to paint one dot at the center base of the nail.
Step 3
Finish with Naked Manicure Glossy Seal. For a quick dry, add a few drops of Fast Drops.
Recreate the Runway Look
Step 1
Prep the nail with Zoya Remove Plus. Apply one coat of Naked Manicure Naked Base.
Step 2
Apply one coat of Spencer. Place the French tip guide towards the free edge of the nail. Paint this area with Arizona, then Sawyer and then Laurel to create an ombré effect.
Step 3
Use a dotting tool to paint one dot in Sawyer at the center base of the nail. Finish with Naked Manicure Glossy Seal and Fast Drops.

TIP! Polish shades can be swapped based on preference and skin tone. For darker skin tones, opt for Jack, Spencer or Chanelle for the base. For fairer skin tones, opt for Brenna or Laurel.
Prabal Gurung SS20
Inspired by classic Americana, the Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2020 collection was designed with the hope of creating a new legacy and forming a new America. Gurung defines this rebirth through the mix of tailoring and grit, patch-worked dresses, cowboy boots and explosions of color. The Zoya nail look, also by Miss Pop, put a twist on the classic French manicure by using Naked Manicure shades for the base, while Zoya pedicures featured classic red Carmen.
“The French manicure remains a timeless nail look—hence the classic Americana-themed collection—but just like the idea of “New America”, we wanted to add a twist,” says Miss Pop.

Step 1
Prep the nail with Zoya Remove Plus. Apply two coats of Zoya Naked Manicure Pink Perfector.
TIP! Depending on skin tone, Naked Manicure Pink Perfector can be switched with Buff Perfector, Lavender Perfector or Mauve Perfector.
Step 2
Use a fine detail brush to paint a thin line with Purity at the free edge.
Step 3
Finish with Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal. For a quick dry, add a few drops of Fast Drops.
Recreate the Runway Pedi
Step 1
Prep the toenails. Apply Naked Manicure Naked Base.
Step 2
Apply two coats of Carmen.
Step 3
Finish with Naked Manicure Glossy Seal and Fast Drops.
