When it comes to New York Fashion Week, we can always look to CND to create epic nails for The Blonds fashion show. For the Fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection, CND created some of the most exciting nails of fashion week creating avant-garde pieces that drew inspiration from metamorphosis.
CND, known for its nail artistry during the fashion industry event, created 26 different nail styles for the runway. The nails were medium length and dagger shaped, framed in liquid mercury, which illuminated dimension and reflected a woman’s power. The moonlit colored and hypnotic nails featured unique finishes and textures, from lapis lazuli to quartz, dimensional python, geodes and mineral artifacts.

“CND’s Fall 2017 trend story is rooted in mercurial hues for spellbinding beauty with a dark seductive edge,” CND co-founder and style director Jan Arnold said in a press release.
The Blonds designers opted for no jewelry on their models and instead let the nail art truly speak for itself as the key purpose. Altogether, the look for The Blonds evoked the essence of a dark, powerful woman.
