Celebrity manicurist Thuy Nguyen paired presenter Lucy Hale’s black gown with crowd favorite Essie in Sheer Silhouette. “I started by giving her a little length and trim around the cuticles,” says Nguyen. “After one coat of Essie’s Strong Start base coat, both Lucy and I agreed on two coats of Sheer Silhouette, topped with Gel Setter top coat to seal the deal—plus a few drops of Quick-E Finisher for a bit of moisture, shine and fast drying time.”
