The Revenant scooped up the top awards at 2016’s Golden Globes while we were getting the scoop on the top manicures of the night! Here are a few well polished nails of the night from Hollywood’s leading ladies!
Golden Globe winner (Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series) Maura Tierney had her digits polished by Melissa DeLaCruz using Caption Polish. The lacquer is aptly named Let Life Unfold – perfect for the actress’s role in The Affair.
Laverne Cox of Orange is the New Black stunned in two different gorgeous white gowns last night – and a manicure by DeLaCruz using Caption This Old Thing and Create Change!
Natalie Dormer of Game of Thrones fame paired a paprika dress with a mani-pedi done by Sabella Snyder in Caption’s Rough, Tough & in the Buff.
We love this minimalistic nail art! Jamie Chung got this basic black and white mani from manicurist DeLaCruz using Caption Heaven Help Me and Look Don’t Touch.
Bella Thorne’s nails never disappoint! She tried heart and star nail stamps using Caption’s Nail Art Screens over a jewel-like purple. Nail artist Sabella Snyder used Caption Crazy & I Like It, Dust Yourself Off and Can’t Hardly Wait.
The gorgeous Rachel McAdams had a romantic floral dress, so she went with a clean-looking nude nail. Celeb manicurist Jolene Brodeur polished the actress’ digits with Essie BBF Best Boyfriend.
Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore Essie’s newly re-released Sequin Sash. Her manicurist, Emi Kudo shared, “The shimmering nude shade stood out against her black Lanvin dress.”
Orange is the New Black’s Taylor Schilling donned a dark hue – Essie Wicked – applied by manicurist Michelle Saunders to match her Thakoon sequined suit.
Empire’s Taraji P. Henson had a fresh look! “To complement her pure white gown, we kept Taraji’s nails clean, fresh and feminine, focusing on their “ballerina” shape, a long oval nail with a squared off tip,” said celebrity manicurist, Michelle Saunders. Saunders used Essie Mademoiselle and Ballet Slippers on Henson’s nails.
Mistress America actress Lola Kirke wore a warm ochre color and topped it off with “Essie’s bikini with a martini, from the new retro revival collection, was the perfect shimmering sheer hue with a touch of pink,” shares her manicurist Christina Aviles.
