Questex once again brought the International Beauty Show to Las Vegas for plenty of fun and excitement in nails! Here's three things you missed if you weren't able to attend this year's show.

Questex brought the International Beauty Show to Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center for plenty of fun and excitement in nails.

This year's show, held June 22-24, made its debut in the new West Hall and once again co-located with International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference.

Nailpro was in attendance and got to experience all the action up close! Here, we recap what you missed if you weren't able to attend this year's show.

New Location

The new West Hall location proved for plenty excitement!

To arrive at the new location, attendees had to travel through colorfully lit undergrown tunnels in Teslas from the Las Vegas Convention Center's monorail stop.

Then, they could walk inside the gorgeous and extra spacious hall. The main level was home to the show floor and registration, while the second and third floor held the classrooms for both IBS and IECSC.

If you wanted to get your steps in, this year's location provided the perfect opportunity to do so!

Show Floor

The nail industry showed up for this year's International Beauty Show with brands like Gelish, Aprés Nail, Light Elegance, Dreamtime Creations and PLA showcasing their new and fan-favorite products.

Tánghulu Nails brought its gorgeous line of press-on nails to the show floor! We couldn't stop staring at the Blue Lagoon nails, which feature a nude base and plenty of ocean blue shimmer at the tips! This a perfect summer look for clients that want an extra razzle dazzle to their nails!

en Vogue Nails spotlighted its lac it! gel polishes, including its new Out of Office collection with four pastel shades curated alongside summer's biggest nail trends. One color that caught our eye from this collection was Off the Clock, a sharp mint green shade.

SOFGEL was also on the show floor with its premium line of soft gel full cover tips called SOFTIPS PRO and new gel collections. We love the soft pastel lavender shade Wrinkle in Time from its Draw Me Like One of Your French Girls 9-piece set.

From the UK, Brillbird brought its neon, holographic, unicorn and gold chromes to IBS! A stand-out for us was the Russian Gold, which is a gorgeous rose gold that adds a gorgeous metal shine to the nails.

Once you were done shopping for colors, you could head over to Lexor's booth to see their Ice Pink PRIVÉ Lounge Pedicure Chair. This stunning pastel shade is sure to add a pop of color to your salon!

For safe and effective callus removal, we had to make sure to stop by Podosafe's booth! You can see their product in action in this tutorial, as part of our Tutorial Tuesday series.

Education

When you were done shopping for products, it was time to head up to the classrooms to get your learn on!

Jaime Schrabeck, Ph.D, from Precision Nails taught a variety of classes throughout the weekend. We made sure to stop by her Going Tipless class to hear more about her advice for adopting a no-tip policy in your salon, which she also shared with us in our May/June issue. You can also see Jamie teach at our upcoming Nailpro Show in September in Sacramento.

Mjnailz Academy had a presence on the show floor and in the classrooms, with founder Miranda Richardson teaching classes on Acrylic Encapsulation, Acrylic Sculpting, Crystal Placement and more!

Next Year

If you are feeling the FOMO, make sure you attend IBS Las Vegas next year June 21-23, 2025!
