Although Sritapan no longer takes nail clients in a salon, she does hone her craft by shooting nail art tutorials and giving friends and family at-home manicures. “I grew up with traditional parents, who didn’t let me wear nail polish—so I’d color my nails with crayon instead,” says Sritapan. “What happens when you tell someone they can’t have something? That’s right, they want it more.” Sritapan snuck her first bottle of army green polish in the basket while her mother was checking out at a drugstore—and the rest was history. Before OPI, Sritapan worked at Beverly Hills, California-based House of Polish, where she met her mentor, Robert Nyguyen.
