We’re celebrating national Unicorn Day with a roundup of fantastical nail tips complete with iridescent hues, unicorn flakes and chrome pigments!

Celebrated annually on April 9, unicorn references stem from antiquity, when ancient Greek writers and historians believed the mystical creatures existed in the country of India. Mary created her pink unicorn set using Glam and Glits Made in Sweet colored acrylic and Ultra White, Unichrome from Daily Charme and Swarovski Crystals from Dreamtime Creations.

Referenced biblically, passages painted these animals as a symbol of strength, innocence and love. Fremont, California-based Pamper Nail Gallery artist Brittnay Morris used Valentino Beauty Pure colored acrylics and Wild Flowers Nails to create her unicorn stone sculpted set.
