According to Spate, this trend has grown by +314.0% compared to last year, gaining traction across platforms. 

On TikTok, the trend has grown by +227.1%, with consumers especially drawn to tutorials, as seen in hashtags like #nailtutorial and #diynailart.

Consumers are searching for various shades, such as "blonde tortoise shell nails," "pink tortoise shell nails" and "tortoise shell nails green."

Glass Nails

This trend is an evolution of the 2024 chrome nail obsession, creating the illusion of glass, typically achieved with gel polish.

According to Spate, the trend has grown by +290.8% across platforms over the past year, with TikTok leading the charge, holding an 84.3% popularity share. On TikTok, interest has grown by +700.9%.

On TikTok, consumers are looking for both inspiration and technique, with #nailinspo and #nailtutorial.

Much like the tortoise nails trends, consumers are searching for variations of the trend, such as "stained glass nails."
