Cynthia Erivo has been sported a variety of green nail looks this year with the help of her nail artist Rose Hackle (@rosedidmynails), as she promotes her role as Elphaba in the Wicked film based off of the musical. We particularly were in awe of Erivo's 3D Floral Manicure for the Tony Awards and her encapsulated nails for the Met Gala. This time around, Hackle created a sparkling, green manicure for Erivo to wear to the Olympics Opening Ceremony in Paris, using products from OPI

Below, you can see a step-by-step tutorial for creating the look.

Sparkling Green Nail Tutorial

  1. Start by applying your acrylic base and create an XXXL skinny square shape and length.
  2. Next, select which nails you’d like to create your first nail look with, and apply OPI GelColor Midnight Snacc to the right side of each nail, without curing.
  3. Follow on the left side with OPI GelColor in Taurus-t Me using the brush or a blending brush of your choice to continuously move down the line where the colors meet until fully blended to your liking.
  4. Use a clean up brush to clean excess gel into a perfect French line of your choice. Hackle chose a natural almond French line for Cynthia. Cure.
  5. Apply OPI GelColor in Taurus-t Me on the remaining nails in a French Tip.
  6. Next, use OPI GelColor in Snatch’d Silver from the spring Your Way collection to create a shiny velvet effect.
  7. Adorn with color matching jewels and charms.
  8. Apply one coat of OPI GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat.
