Nail Art Tutorial: Valentine’s Day Confetti

Try this heart on a confetti background for a Valentine’s Day manicure that will make the sparks fly! Use Gelish to achieve this exact look.

+ Gelish Top It Off
+ Gelish Nourish
+ Gelish Cleanse
+ Gelish Pro: 45 LED Light
+ Lint-free nail wipes
+ Dotting tools
Buff1. Shape the nails with a file and lightly buff the nails with the Gelish Cuticle Pusher Nail Prep Tabs to remove the shine. Apply Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse to a lint-free wipe to remove the dust and clean the nail.

 

ApplyPHBond2. Dehydrate the nail plate with Gelish pH Bond.

 

ApplyFoundation3. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Foundation, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure in the Gelish Pro: 45 LED Light for 45 seconds.

 

ApplyPassion4. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Passion, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure in the Gelish Pro: 45 LED Light for 45 seconds.

 

ApplyLotsofDots5. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Lots of Dots, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure in the Gelish  Pro:45 LED light for 45 seconds.

CreateHeartDesign6. Using Gelish Sheek White and a dotting tool, place 2 dots next to each other. Using a small end of another dotting tool, drag the center of the 2 circles together to a point, to create the heart design. Cure in the Gelish  Pro: 45 LED light for 45 seconds.

 

ApplyTopItOff7. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Top It Off, making sure to cap the free edge.

8. Cure in the Gelish Pro: 45 LED light for 45 seconds. Apply Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse to a lint-free wipe to remove to remove the tacky surface.

 

ApplyCuticleOil9. To finish, apply Gelish Nourish Cuticle Oil to the skin surrounding the nail plate and massage into cuticles.
