“Lucky” Awards Nails

Last night, The Big Bang Theory‘s stunner Kaley Cuoco took the stage as host for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. But before entering the famed Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles, Cuoco stopped on the red carpet to show off her now trademark “lucky” manicure (she wore a similar look at the 2011 Emmy Awards). OK, so maybe that’s not entirely why she stopped, but as far as we’re concerned, it was simply to show off her gorgeous nails!

OPI celerity manicurist Beth Fricke (also known for her work on NAILPRO’s June 2011 It’s in the Bag summer color story) created a two-toned style for the presenter. Shimmery blood red Bastille My Heart from OPI’s La Collection de France was painted on all of her fingers—except her ring fingers, which were coated in glittery platinum Follow Me on Glitter, from the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor collection.

While Cuoco’s award show duds and delivery didn’t disappoint, we still think that her nails completely stole the show! —Stephanie Yaggy
