Glitter Nails

GlitternailsI love glitter. One of the reasons I admire it so much is because it can be perfectly flawed, looking all shiny and sparkly—but sporadic and fun. It reminds me of why I appreciate the “shabby chic” style of design. I enjoy having a put together look but don’t want to stress about a formal setting. So, last night I decided to just have some nonchalant fun with the art I’d chosen for my nails. I’ll call the look Rockstar Wannabe! (I really did hold my remote as my pretend mic and sing along to Rhianna with my new nail look.)

I used Truebond base and top coats from SpaRitual, Cracked Ice in red glitter from NSI and silver glitter from FantaSea—which I secured to my nail with the top coat from SpaRitual. The base of the nail was black polish in Nagellack from LCN. I topped the cluster of glitter already secured to my nail with Stripe Ez in silver from the Princess Spectrum Kit.

Similar to glitter art or a casual décor, I can be my own poised calamity and rock it!
