In the wake of Puerto Rico’s hurricane disaster, Cuccio’s global educator Marilyn Garcia’s family and friends were directly impacted and it inspired the professional brand to help. The company founders and its employees hosted a food and clothing drive and created a Cuccio Hurricane Nail Tech Survivor Box. The box provides Cuccio educators and other professional nail technicians in Puerto Rico with tools and products to help them get back to work as quickly as they can. The box is available for purchase at by La Espanola, one of Puerto Rico’s most successful beauty distributors. “When I heard that the company was building these boxes I just broke down and cried,” Garcia said. “I now know that my decision to move to California and work for this family was the best decision in my entire life. I will forever be grateful to everyone at Cuccio for being there when I needed them most. They truly became the anchor I needed in this storm.”
