Coronavirus Concerns Prompt Conference Cancellations and Postponements

Amid COVID-19 concerns, the following conferences and trade shows have been cancelled or rescheduled:

Questex has cancelled The Beauty Experience NY (IBS NY). Following New York’s declaration of a state of emergency, International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference (IECSC) New York is postponed to August 1 through 3 at the Javits Center. Registration will reopen early April.

The ISPA Talent Symposium, set to take place April 14 to 15 at The Ritz-Carlton, Bacara, in Santa Barbara, California, has been cancelled. The event will not be rescheduled; however, ISPA is developing a plan to deliver the Talent Symposium’s key messages and resources tied to workforce challenges at the 2020 ISPA Conference & Expo, which will be held October 14 to 16 at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland. Beauty Düsseldorf has been rescheduled, and will now take place September 18 to 20. Click here to learn more.

Cosmoprof Bologna has been rescheduled for a second time, and will now take place September 3 to 7. Click here to learn more.

The Makeup Show Houston has been rescheduled, and will now take place August 1 to 2.  The official press release can be found here.

Spectrum International Beauty Show (SIBE), set to take place March 15 and 16 in Los Angeles, has been cancelled.
