When Eskimos Meet Nail Art…

This nail trend is really taking off! We first saw this on the Tadashi Shoji runway, and now the diagonal French has made an appearance at TIBI Fall/Winter 2015 – this time created by manicurist and polish creator Jin Soon Choi.

The TIBI runway designs were inspired by Inuit culture (think Eskimos), and while the models didn’t walk a pack of sled dogs onto stage, they certainly did rock long fuzzy coats; warm, oversized sweaters; and even fur-trimmed shoes.

So while hairstylists gave models wind-blown hair, Choi naturally opted for a simple snow-capped manicure. This involved applying base coat, two coats of pinky-nude JINsoon Nostalgia, painting a curved line on the tip of the nail with white JINsoon Doux, and finishing with top coat.
