Study Finds Nails Provide Clue in Limb Regeneration

Here’s another new reason to add to our long list of why we appreciate and are fascinated by nails! A new study conducted by New York University Langone Medical Center finds that nails could provide important clues to limb regeneration. The study suggests that stem cells under the base of nails that can assist in the regrowth of partially amputated digits.
