Dancing With the Stars‘ Peta Murgartroyd just got engaged to costar Maksim Chmerkovskiy – and the ring she’s rocking is stunning!
To show off such a gorgeous rock, nails absolutely must be on point. Her manicurist Lisa Pena Wong used Maxus Nails to strengthen her nails and give them a high gloss shine. The look is naturally beautiful and shiny!
“Peta recently cut down her acrylic nails so she wanted them extended back out,” says Wong. “We decided on a soft natural square/oval to enhance her beautiful nail shape and added length with acrylic.
“The center of attention was Peta’s incredibly gorgeous ring – we absolutely wanted that to be the star of the show! We knew that we wanted superior adhesion for the neutral color, so I used Maxus Nails Base Coat to ensure that the polish had a smooth surface and would last. For color, we knew we didn’t want anything overbearing, so we chose a very simple pink called Romantique.
“The look was finished off with Maxus Nails Top Coat, which provided an armor-like finish and high shine!”
