If you’re looking to move up or to a new position in the beauty industry, you need to show you are professional, experienced, and have done your homework. Here are 3 key tips:
- Keep the appearance of your résumé clean and straightforward, and use an ordinary font like Times New Roman, Arial, or Georgia.
- Include specific descriptions of your previous jobs and duties, especially those that could be applied to the job you are seeking.
- Show your enthusiasm both in your cover letter, but also in your interactions with the salon or hiring manager. Show them you’re excited and would be enjoyable to work with.
