Untitled 1 8

Landing the job you really want requires having the resume your potential employers really want. If you’re looking to move up or to a new position in the beauty industry, you need to show you are professional, experienced, and have done your homework. Take notes from these quick tips and our sample industry résumé below.

Here are 3 key tips:

  • Keep the appearance of your résumé clean and straightforward, and use an ordinary font like Times New Roman, Arial, or Georgia.
  • Include specific descriptions of your previous jobs and duties, especially those that could be applied to the job you are seeking.
  • Show your enthusiasm both in your cover letter, but also in your interactions with the salon or hiring manager. Show them you’re excited and would be enjoyable to work with.
  • Include if you’ve been published before (including in Nailpro). This can be a big plus!
