World Wide Winners
Twelve entries placed and eight warranted honorable mentions in the seventh Strut Your Stuff Nail Art & Enhancement Contest, held online at BeautyTech.com during October 2007. A myriad of nailcare companies, including Backscratchers Salon Systems, CND, Entity Beauty, EZ Flow, ibd, LCN, Le Chat, Nailite, NSI, OPI Products, Star Nail, That's It? Instant Nail Art, Vicki Peters Signature Series and Young Nails, provided prizes for contestants, who submitted their entries online via digital photos. The results were announced November 18, 2007.

Winning Over Europe
Stefanie Lore, an ambassador for Magnetics Prestige Acrylic Nails, won first place in the Helsinki World Championships for Acrylic Nail Design on November 10, 2007. Lore, who was already the German champion five times over, beat former Helsinki champion Karen Ström by 24 points. Lore  also competed in the gel category and placed second behind Ström trailing by only four points.
