This year’s Nailpro Pasadena show April 13, 2014 at the Pasadena Convention Center was one of our most exciting yet! Well known industry professionals like Star Nail Vice President of Marketing and Director of Education Elaine Watson, OPI General Manager Mary Van Praag, Morgan Haile of Morgan Taylor Lacquer, and Sha-Nail Pro Art Director Mami Griffin.
Our competitions were a highlight of the event. Techs competed in categories like 3-D Nail Art (the theme was perfume), Soak-Off Gel Application, Salon Success, and It’s All About The Bling. The finale was a race to set the new Guinness World Record for Fastest Set of Acrylic Sculpted Nails using flat paper or metal forms. Amy Becker set a new record with an incredible time of 9:03 minutes, with Elena Popova coming in second.
