Before this summer is up, try out the hourglass nail. Just like dresses that exemplify a sultry curved body, the hourglass nail design makes digits appear long and slender. What’s more is the look is fairly easy to create, and can be customized with whatever two or three colors the client desires.
West Hollywood celebrity stylist Naja Rickette designed these hourglass nails after starring on WE TV’s summer series, L.A. Hair. Though she was hesitant at first to be caught up in the whirlwind of reality TV, Naja quickly realized it was worth it to share nail tips and styles with other manicurists.
The black and platinum glitter mani above is a perfect neutral accessory to a night out or an elegant affair while a bright neon take is good for a sunny day. For beach days, adding a bright accent shade to one side of the nail creates a brilliant pop!
