Cheery Cherries!

Here’s some ripe inspiration for your nail art, courtesy of Mother Nature.

 

 

 

   
Beginner:
Cherry “Cutie” Pie
1 Polish the nail light pink.




 
 
2 Paint two red circles near the free edge. Add tiny green stems and a green leaf.


 
  
3 Using a stylus (such as a toothpick or the end of a small brush), dot five white daisy petals for each flower near the cherries.


 
 
4 Dot the center of each flower with pink paint. Finish with top coat.

Intermediate:
It’s the Pits!
1 Polish the nail light green.
2 Paint several red cherries with stems in a random pattern over the whole nail.
3 Add two coats of sheer white polish over the entire nail. Let it dry for a few minutes.
4 Add one coat of hologram glitter top coat.
5 Paint a dark brown cherry stem. Glue on two red stones for cherries. Finish with top coat.

Advanced:
Cherry Pickin’ Time
1 Polish the nail white. Paint a sky and clouds over the top half of the nail using blue and white paints. Add birds with white paint.
2 Create a tree by dabbing paint in two shades of green onto the surface of the nail. Use the same technique at the free edge for grass.
3 Paint a brown tree trunk, a black ladder, hat, blue overalls and a red shirt. Paint a haystack to the right of the tree.
4 Add red dots on the tree for cherries, and use white paint to add accents on several of the cherries. Finish with top coat.

French:
Cherry Bomb
1 Polish the nail shimmering white with a blue tip.
2 Add a martini glass using black paint. Line the French tip with silver glitter polish.
3 Paint a cherry on the inside of the glass and another on the outside. Add a green stem and paint a red swizzle stick.
4 Using blue, red and silver glitter paints, add several star bursts and sparklers. Finish with top coat.
