Nail Art Tutorial: Glitter French Manicure

Add sparkle to the edge of tips with glitter! Mix loose glitter with your clear soak-off gel to prep. If you need to extend the nail, use a hard gel instead of a glued-on tip, which can easily pop off with soak-off gels.

Step 1: Gently push back cuticles and remove any dead skin from the nail plate. Clean and prep the nails as usual. Apply a form and use clear hard gel to extend the nail bed. Cure the nail, then file it to achieve the desired length and shape.

Step 2: Apply a layer of soak-off base gel and cure the nail. Paint the entire nail with pink soak-off gel. Cure.

Step 3: Place a small amount of your mixed glitter and soak-off gel on the free edge to create a French. Use the tip of your brush dipped in alcohol to refine the smile line. Cure. If the color is not intense enough, apply a second coat and cure.

Step 4: Finish with the soak-off gel top coat and cure the nails. Wipe off any tacky residue and finish with cuticle oil.
