MiniLuxe is not the typical nail salon, and neither was its beginning. The company is venture capital-funded, counts television’s Dr. Oz as an advisor and was born from significant research into creating a successful and healthful nail salon. In the end, that research lead to the salon’s six promises: help the customer look and feel good; be fastidiously clean, healthy and safe; offer smart value and choices on small luxuries; provide convenience, quality and consistency; deliver services in an inviting and soothing atmosphere; and care for the community. While there are currently three salons in the Boston area, the company now offers franchising opportunities with the hope of delivering this consistent, clean and exceptional atmosphere in more cities.
