On June 1, respected scientist Doug Schoon launched his new video series: Face-to-Face with Doug Schoon. As the “Myth Buster” of the nail industry, Schoon seeks to set the record straight about nail products and disprove all the rumors and misinformation used to fool and needlessly scare people about UV lamps, Toulene, and the like. In the video series, Schoon talks honestly to technicians, consumers, and industry professionals about his findings (One being that UV lamps aren’t a health hazard) in a way that’s quirky, fun, and easy to understand.
New episodes will launch every Sunday, with Episode 3 premiering June 15, 2014 at 9:00 AM PST. You’ll have to sign up as a registered member to see the full 17-minute episode (it’s 4.95/month if you sign up before the end of June), but you can get a taste of his message in this free two-minute clip from Episode 2: “’Toxic Trio’ Myth.”
