The perks of being a renowned manicurist and founder of your own luxury polish brand? You get asked to polish celebrity’s nails for red carpets all throughout awards season. To kick off 2015’s awards show lineup, Deborah Lippmann readied the nails of comedian Allison Janney, co-host for the night’s 2015 People Choice Awards.
As she would be doing five costume changes that night, the CBS’ Mom star opted for a gel-like nude nail with a classic almond shape that would match every outfit. Lippmann began by applying Deborah Lippmann All About That Base CC Base Coat to even out the color of the natural nail. She then added two layers of her new bisque shade Like Dreamers Do from the 2015 Whisper Collection. To give the manicure a plump, gel-like appearance, Lippmann topped it off with Gel Lab Top Coat and ensured it dried quickly with The Wait is Over Quick Dry Drops. Lanney’s toes were polished with a feminine dusty rose – Modern Love.
