News Flash! Nail Art Competitions Added to IBS Las Vegas

 

LAS VEGAS: Competition Director Jewell Cunningham announced that the show management of IBS Las Vegas has asked Nailpro to sponsor two nail art competitions at its June show in Las Vegas. So many exhibitors signed up for this year's event that show management was forced to cancel all competition plans due to lack of space.

 

"So many nail techs called that show management that they asked if we could help", said Cunningham. "We offered to hold two nail art competitions: Hand Painted Nail Art and Fantasy Nail Art. These competitions will be turn-in only, so they don't need workspace."

 

The competitions will focus on (what else!) Las Vegas themes. Techs will be asked to hand paint a casino theme on 10 tips for the Hand Painted Nail Art competition, and to create a Las Vegas show theme for the Fantasy Nail Art competition. Entries will be turned in and judged in time for a 3:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony.

 

Nailpro Introduces Online Competitions

 

Interested in competing, but don’t want to travel to a Nailpro venue competition? Now you have a choice!

 

Nailpro Competitions has added a cyber competition to the 2008 Nailpro Cup schedule. Entries must be received between June 15 and June 16, 2008. Cyber competitors may enter any of four competitive events: 3-D Nail Art (Mask Theme), Hand Painted Nail Art (Dragon Theme), French Twist and Sculptured Nails.

Winners will be announced on June 30, 2008. For more information, please see the rules section.
