1. Prep the nail as you would for a traditional gel application. Apply one coat of maroon gel, but don’t cure it. 2. Using a striping brush and off-white gel, dip brush into gel, allowing brush to become saturated with gel. Take brush out of gel and allow it to “string”—or drip off brush. String gel over maroon background and swirl.  For each swirl, use a new string. 3. Cure the nail. Follow manufacturer directions about whether you should apply a gel top coat or a traditional top coat.
