Behind the Scenes NAILPRO September 2016 Cover
When it comes to style, the ’70s is a decade we continuously draw inspiration from. With its rich textures, bold colors and playful patterns, the 1970s represented an era of individuality, creativity and glamour. To capture that, we asked celebrity nail artist Whitney Gibson of @whitneygnails to create the nail art for this shoot. Using fall colors like burnt orange, sage and lilac, Whitney created looks that “were easy to pull off but still have some cachet about them. I choose a handful of simple designs that I think someone with less experience or (a nail tech) trying to move quickly could pull off.”
