Saturday, May 1, 2010 It's the second day of shooting and the nails still look great, so Gaga just wants foot and leg massages. I really enjoy giving a good hand or foot massage and love it that my clients enjoy this relaxing part of my service. I've been told I could also be a massage therapist! I work on her feet for about two hours while she gets her makeup done. Once we finish, Gaga's very appreciative and thanks me. As Gaga and the crew walk around, the makeup artist, Val Garland, stops to tell me how beautiful the nails are—it makes me feel really great for her to go out of her way to give me a compliment!
Now they've started shooting, and everyone is so excited about this video because there are some surprises for her fans. Gaga cut off all her hair for this video, but it's top secret; there are plans to hide it from the public until the actual video comes out! So, I can't take any behind-the-scenes pictures this time (sorry guys!).
The other very interesting part of the video is that Gaga goes in a whole new direction as far as makeup is concerned. She wears very little to no eye makeup. I think it's truly brilliant for her to change so drastically.
Since I have some free time during shooting, I start Minxing the crew. Gaga's stylist is celebrating her birthday—so we Minx her, too! After a few more hours of shooting, the day and the video are wrapped, and it's time to go home! This was a great day and I'm always so grateful to be part of these kinds of projects. Steven and Gaga are definitely a great mixture of fashion, art and music. And I've got plenty of celebrities to plan for in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!
